Turn your face to the sun and the shadows will fall behind you.
(African proverb)

Africa is known to be the cradle of humanity. However, many people are not even aware of how large and diverse this continent really is. It is therefore impossible to speak of “the” Africa. But I am sure of one thing and I quote Brian Jackman with deep conviction: “Africa changes you forever. Once you've been there, you'll never be the same person again.”

Tanzania did exactly that to me. It changed my life. The country, the people, the different cultures and even the weather are so diverse that it's hard to talk about “the” Tanzania. That's why I'm showing you MY Tanzania, the way I got to know it and am still discovering it.

Collage Zanzibar and Tanzania

Come and visit me in Zanzibar, a small, semi-autonomous island in the Indian Ocean that is so diverse that it is almost impossible to get bored there. Whether it's a quiet beach vacation, kitesurfing, unique beaches, parties, breathtaking sunsets, diving and snorkeling, magnificent landscapes with unique wildlife or the unique culture of the islanders - you'll find it all on this paradise island.

If you want to see more of the country, you can travel to the mainland by ferry or plane and discover a completely different Tanzania. There are many different indigenous peoples, national parks, cities, mountains and breathtaking nature to explore.

Personally, I was captivated by the Maasai culture. I visited many different villages and discovered that the Maasai have their own special characteristics in every region. What they all have in common, however, is great hospitality, a zest for life and a very special aura. We can learn so much from the Maasai, especially when it comes to their attitude to life in general. My friends, my team and I are very keen to show you the real Maasai. How do they live in their boma? What social structures do they have? What do Maasai do for a living? What are they famous for? What do they do when they disappear into the forest for weeks? What are the core elements of this fascinating culture?

Together with Simon, a Maasai and experienced safari guide, as well as a team of locals and a friend from Austria, I organize unforgettable trips to Zanzibar/Tanzania. We offer unique experiences, off the beaten track and with a touch of local authenticity. In simple but charming accommodations you can experience the life like of the locals. We offer ready-made packages to create the perfect vacation setting or help you organize individual trips. You can look forward to recommendations for restaurants, exciting excursions and local life tips directly on site. If you like, I can also join you on various excursions and show you with my friends how to use public transport, for example.

I look forward to helping you organize your dream trip.

Best regards,

yours  Silvia
